Join me for an evening of sowing seeds, a warm brew, and a selection of sweet treats — including Mum’s legendary homemade jam tarts.
From growing in my own garden, I’ve learned how to make the most of a small space: growing in containers, planting in succession, and choosing the right flowers for continuous colour and cutting. I’ve also discovered that every plant needs its own unique start in life to truly thrive.
In this workshop, I’ll guide you through different plant types and how best to care for them. You’ll sow the seeds you need to grow your own hand-tied bouquets this summer. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned gardener, all are welcome to come along and share tips.
You’ll head home with:
- A tray of freshly sown seeds
- A bundle of my hand-drawn seed packets to plant at home
- The cutest pink plant markers
- Your own handcrafted dibber
We’ll be gathering at Cabbage Rose on the 1st April, a gorgeous space within the Foxlowe Arts Centre. The workshop runs from 6pm–8pm and is designed to be relaxed, friendly, and full of good chat. Simply an easygoing evening of flowers, laughter, with a few fancy tarts.
